Handling tends to fall into three types:
Which method to use depends vastly on your
circumstances. For example, if you are a
tall person and handling a puppy, the British
style would not suit, the American style would
be more appropriate.
Of course, it all depends on which you are
more comfortable with too. The British
style is much more acceptable in the ring
but we feel that you should handle in the best
way for you - as long as your dog is presented
to the judge at their best, it should make no
difference.
